How can I transfer my Sanyo PM-8200 phone book to my new Sanyo Katana?
-
I didn't get Sprint's backup service. How can I transfer the contacts between the phones *myself*?
-
Answer:
You can either manually transfer them all or pay15$ at the sprint store; it wont be cost effective to do it yourself. You would need either cables and software for both phones (to transfer the phonebook to pc and then from pc to phone 2), or access to one of the machines the sprint store has.

Sprint stores do have the capability to transfer phonebooks from one phone to another, but save yourself some time and call the store to make sure that they have the cable to do it. Sometimes when the phone is still pretty new they wont have the cable for it yet.
