Can I connect my blackberry to the home internet?

Can i connect to my home wireless connection with my blackberry pearl 8100?

  • i am getting a blackberry pearl 8100 for christmas and i was wondering if i could connect to my wireless home connection or any other wireless conection to surf the internet.. does anyone know if i can do that?

  • Answer:

It's not possible. Only BlackBerry devices that end in xx20 have WiFi (except the Bold 9000). So the 8120 or 8320 or 8820 have WiFi, but not the 8100. Wireless data would only be accessible through your provider (assuming it's T-Mobile or AT&T since the 8100 isn't on Verizon).

I really don't think so. You have to purchase the internet plan that comes with all Blackberry's. Also if u need to hook up your blackberry to your laptop or Pc, then you need to buy a special cable from Verizon and they will activate your service for an additional charge.
