What phone - Lg Versa or Lg Dare?

What phone should i get LG Dare or LG Versa ?

  • My dad is mailing my Dare to me. I really liked the phone till i heard my sister got the same exact phone as me ( she does this all the time). So i'm thinking LG Versa good phone or not ?

    I have the LG dare and it is a really great phone but i think the easiest way to do this is to give you pros and cons LG Dare: pros- really good camera pretty good web browsing, you can watch you tube windows in kind of good quality very customizable, you can change menus around and add stuff to your home screen, change the shortcut menu any thing you look for is super easy to find in like 2 or 3 taps the call quality on both ends was EXCELLENT! everyone sounded great cons- sometimes the screen is not that resposive i did not have a good experience txt messaging or typing anything, you could have it in qwerty mode but it still made alot of mistakes LG versa pros- it is like the dare but you can have 3 homescreen windows by flicking the screen and if you have the keyboard attached you can have 4 it is even more customizable than the dare lg took some of the problems from the dare and fixed them the screen is super responsive you can txt on screen or attach the keypad it has visual voicemail which is really nice (that means that you can see what number called you what time and you can play and go to a certain point in the message easily) webbrowsing has basic flash so unlike most phone webbrowsers it can display what the website looks like on a computer and not just the phone version if there is a youtube video embed in a website it can play it unlike all other phones (and it wont open in a seperate window) cons- (i am not sure how many i can think of lol) not all websites using flash work perfectly but you tube and other simple ones do) you may think when the keypad is attached it is bulky (which i dont think so but everyone has their own opinion) cant think of any more things wrong with the phone !!!!! so basically i think the lg versa is practically the best verizon phone so far. you can always wait a month or two more because i am sure allot of other phones will be coming out. you should go onto youtube and search lg versa and you can watch some video reviews about the device. that would probably help you make your decision. srry if this was longer than you were looking for cause i have i tendency to put very long answers. hope this helps!

So I just got the Versa last night. I love it!! its really neat because it is a lot like the dare with the functions and navigations and whatnot, but it also has the additional feature of the removeable keypad, you can remove the back plate of the regular phone and stick it on. So you can type with the keypad. I dont think there is any phone out there like it. Its really really great. I am really suggesting getting the versa, plus its only a few bucks difference.

I think that t looks like a way cooler phone then the dare and it has potential. But since it just came out on Sunday i haven't got to actually use one yet.

Well if you don't want to get the same phone as your sister then get the LG Versa. I haven't used it yet but i sounds like a pretty good phone. And i don't know the good or bad things about it yet because i haven't used it so i don't know that much about it. Sorry i really don't know too much about it but i hope it helped.

well i dont no the type but the color should be purple or white. oh and if you can try to get the colors mixed... oh ya that would be like totaly kool!!!

id have to say neither. Go for the LG Env. I have the versa and while i haven't had any big problems. the Env is much more user friendly. Especially if you like texting. For texting, the touch screen is just a disaster. The Env is very hardy and i wish i kept it. While the versa is cool with the removable hard keyboard, the phone becomes very top heavy when you have it attached and it hinders the speed at which you type. The EnV or Env2 are really very hardy and well made phones. If you really wanted to choose between the dare or versa, i would go with the versa just because a lot of kinks in the dare are now fixed (especially the kinks involving the media player).

I have friends that have that phone and they love it i think the dare is better though me and my sister have the same phone too so i dont think u should not get it because of that
