Should I get an iPhone or an iTouch?

IPhone v.s. iTouch - Wich one should i get!?

  • Hey, i have recently decided to buy a new iPod. While discusing this with one of my friends, he had suggested to me that if i was going to get and iTouch, then i should just buy an iPhone because the iPhone has all the things the touch has and more plus its a phone. Now i wasn't planning on getting service on the iPhone if i got it, but he said i should get it just to have it. What does the iTouch come with already installed, and what does the iPhone come with that is already installed. Do i have to have service for the iPhone in order to use the Internet function, the youtube, the self notes program, any other services i need to have service for, or could i just buy the iPhone, and use all the functions without the service.

    Okay first: it's not an iTouch it's an iPod Touch please get it right! Secondly: When you buy an iPhone, you HAVE to buy service with it, which is around $50 a month. Third: The iPhone and iPod Touch is basically the same thing except the iPhone has a camera and a phone. So if you already have a phone, just go with the iPod touch. If not, then the iPhone.

Hmm... This depends on wheteher or not you have a cellphone already. If you do, then I suggest you don't get the phone, but rather the itouch. Unlike what your friend said, it doesn't necessarily have anything that the iPod touch doesn't have except a phone. So if you're just into it for the features, and already have a phone, the just get the itouch. It has all the same cool features (ie I'm writing this on my itouch) without paying for the phone (which if you say you really aren't going to pay for the service and just buy an unlocked iPhone, expect to pay FAR FAR MORE than $200 or $300 bucks...) Sorry, your friend is an idiot... It's a LOT more than he/she thinks it is...

what kind of question is that of course an iphone. its basically a ipod touch with a phone and you can take pics. hope this helped.

If you buy the iPhone you have to get the plan and that is how you get service and wifi access everyone and access for Youtube. i have a friend who has one and i asked him this and he said its the service which gives you access to the internet.All in all if calling is such a big deal to you get it, or else just get the Touch because if you find a hotspot then you connect to it and get access to the internet. Anyway its all your choice.

The ipod touch- only can surf the net with wifi connection iphone- can surf the net anywhere and yes you have to pay the plan which is wicked expensive i say ipod touch if you don't need the phone or don't use it a lot

the iphone is great though it is much more expensive than the ipod touch. the itouch i probably the better way to go i have one and its spectacular. the iphone is to pricy for basically the same features as the iphone

i think you should get an itouch. This is because iphones have the same thing as itouch but just a phone more, and you have to pay every month about $90 while for itouch you only pay to buy it. Hope that helps.
