Can I use a Verizon blackberry on metro PCS?

How to flash a Verizon phone over to metro pcs without paying metro?

• i have a verizon lg vx4500, i have a metro pcs phone that has one foot on a banana peel and one foot int he grave so to speak what i would like to do is flash my lg to metro pcs then have them turn it on so i can use it. now before you say "just go to metro and have them do it" metro here said it would cost me $68 to have them flash the phone plus $40 to turn it on. needless to say im not going for that. so i would like to figure out how to do this myself, can you help?

  Metro is trying to make a few bucks... suppose you did figure out how to flash it for free; if you then took it to metro and they saw it was already flashed, what would happen? Since the only legit way to flash a phone is if they do it, I'm sure they'll say it was an unauthorized flash, could have bugs, etc. and they would just insist you flash it again and pay them anyway! But I suppose it's worth a try if you find something, you might get lucky!
