How to convince my parents to get me a cellphone?

prove to them that your'e responsible enough to have one. but then it may also be money issues, because phone plans can be pretty expensive these days.

i dont know but if you find out let me know!! ive tried EVERYTHING!!

show them you're responsible. be nice to them and listen to what they say! also, show that you won't just use the phone to talk to your friends 24/7.

Find the cheapest plan you can and bug them until they get it for you. Or do prepaid and offer to pay for the minutes yourself if they buy you the phone.

Ask them real nice

Tell them that they can check up on you anytime -and that you can call if your in danger.--That's sure to do the trick. May be also do some extra chores around the house.

explain to them why you need it, like for emergencies, telling them you won't be home till x o' clock, etc. don't say stuff like, "'cause everyone else in school has one."

buy yourself one they're $20 at wallmart FYE and other stores u can buy them really cheap

Make them see that you are responsible. Tell them situations that you might need it for. Say to them "What if there was an emergancy?" and stuff like that. Cell phones can be for emergancy only...(and for your friends. lol)
