How could I activate a phone with "BAD ESN" with Sprint?

• I won this phone from an aution and wanted to activate with Spint. But I was told it has a "BAD ESN". How could I activate the phone with Sprint? I had my old phone. Could I swap the ESN of the two phone --- so my old phone will carry the bad ESN, and my new phone will carry my old phone's good ESN?

  The ESN's are programmed to the phone it self, you would have to reflash the phones EPROM, there is no way to simply change it, the only way to use the phone is to find out (if possible) why it is on the Blacklist and resolve the issue, most companys can file a request to have it removed from the list if it is not stolen.
