Does anyone know how to unlock LG phone?

I got the IMEI but i just need the code calculator. I have a lg and really need it unlocked. Im not willing to pay as i know there is a site out there some where that will unlock it for free.

Why pay anyone? Get it free from your service provider. All SIM unlock codes are tied to the particular device IMEI and are carrier specific. The request for that code would need to be made from the carrier that the phone was originally manufactured for. Each carrier has their own guidelines as far as what requirements have to be met before that code will be given out. Tell them you need it for overseas travel
