Which blackberry phone is the best?

Which cell phone is best for me? Razor or Blackberry?

  • I current have a palm pilot (without phone in it) that I use for all my appointments and addresses. My cell phone is a razor and I usually only use it for phone calls and a occasional text. Do you think I should keep the current set up or switch to a Blackberry and use it for both phone and appointment? Also I don't use either one for the internet so I don't really need part of a service plan.

  • Answer:

I think you should switch all the way over (possibly sell your palm pilot, and donate your razor) Razors tend to go on the shitty end when constantly in use, they snap, the screen breaks, or the key pads wear through. Never was a good plan for a phone IMO. If you switch all the way over to a black berry, you will want to tell the person who helps you connect it with your plan that its no internet use. Also, you may just want to have low download capabilities incase an emergency arises, or if your like me, didn't think that you would use it and then, once you had the capabilities, cant part with it.

A Blackberry would be best because then you would only need the one thing and wouldn't have to carry both around with you. Blackberries are amazing!!

I had a Razor and switched to a Blackberry Pearl when I became eligigble for an upgrade. I had a hard time using the Razor outside because I couldn't see the screen very well. I absolutely hate my Pearl. The reasons why are because I never keep it in the case it came with, because it took two hands to take it out to answer it. And so, I'm forever accidentally calling people from my purse if you know what I mean. I always have to be careful to lock the device before putting it away. And I'm just too lazy. Plus, I usually use my phone for texting and I hate the keypad for its double tap keys. I'm forever having to retype my texts because it gives me the wrong letter. The keys are also very small and I've got large hands I guess. If I were to get a new phone I'd get a Sidekick or a Blackberry Curve.

If all you are doing is calling and txting then you honestly dont need the blackberry unless you are a hard texter like i am. If you need good features then get the blackberry because razors are cheap.

If you want to eliminate the weight of your purse then going with the Blackberry would be your best bet. Maybe you would do more texting if it was easier. Im my mind it probbaly would be easier to jsut have the two in one. Look up what people have to say about the Blackberry you were looking at before you buy it. Don't waste your money on a phone that many don;t like and that you might not either

I just got a blackberry yesterday not really knowing much about it and what the hype was and let me say it seems that you could control your entire life from it...at first it seemed really difficult to learn but if you just take like 30 mins and fool with everything its aweesoommee..best phone ive ever purchased!!

well im not really sure, u could compare the prices that it takes for both, and then just for the blackberry. i would go with whichever one is cheapest. however, ive heard that blackberries are good quality, and that razors break easily, but im not really sure so i think ur best deal would be to go with the cheapest, unless u agree that razors break 2 easily or whatever.

Keep what you have now. The blackberry will be of no additional use to you if you don't text or browse the internet frequently enough to use the keyboard, and blackberries come with required data plan packages of at least $20 a month. You're not a power user, and you don't have specific needs, so save the money and the pain of a new contract and keep what you got. It works.
