Answer:
Did you know there are TWO Boost mobiles with TWO unlimited $50 unlimited everything plans and they can have different phones added to their linuep/network depending on the phone technology. The first Boost unlimited is the one you're talking about. Has a sim card and walkie talkie. It is called Boost iden. A Boost iden sim can be used in any Boost iden or Nextel phone including the Blackberry Curve for Nextel. But only Talk/walkie talkie. The other Unlimited By Boost is the one no one knows about. It has no sim and no walkie talkie. It is called Boost cdma. After you activate it with a Boost cdma phone, you can get a cool Sprint phone and swap the esn/electronic serial numbers with customer service. It may take a little work but can be done. Btw, Boost iden is known for 1)Dropped calls. 2) Slow texts. 3)Calls not going throught. Boost cdma has none of those issues. It's just that they never promote it (yeah, I know, the BETTER service.). You can buy a Boost cdma phone (3 types available, all motorolas, c290, w385, Krzr.) Activate it ($15 if used, new is free plus free first month unlimited service. Costs more though). Call 1-877-TLK-MORE. Put a Sprint phone on to replace it at a later date (They won't allow activations the first time with Sprint phones, but after you open with a Boost phone, it seems okay.) Ask for the $50 Nationwide Unlimited Everything plan. IF they won't give you that the first month, go back, ask for a supervisor immediately and ask for it again. Cdma rules. Iden drools.
