What are some good websites for free Ipod touch apps?

Are there any websites that have good iPhone apps that don't require jailbreaking your phone?

  • I just bought an iPhone and I want to download some apps. From what I understand, Apple has released the iPhone/iPod Touch SDK earlier this year so therefore there shouldn't be any reason to have to jailbreak an iPhone any more, right? I want some apps for my phone that don't require me to jailbreak, for fear of bricking up my new phone. I've checked out the apps on the iTunes store and I've found a few I like but most of them are lame. I don't mind paying for apps but i'm not paying $4 to fake like I'm drinking milk or to pop fake bubble wrap, that stuff is useless. Are there any websites that offer any apps like this? If so I'd like to know which ones and what some cool/interesting/neat/useful apps they have.

The fake drinking milk should be on hottrix's website, but I believe it's a movie and does not work with the accelerometer (if you knew anything about programming, a lot of those applications are not that easy to make). Websites are not allowed to distribute applications (hottrix's uses video I believe). It's against the SDK agreement.
