HTC Smart battery problems?

HTC HD-7 wont charge ?

  • Hello Yahooers ! I have a HTC HD7 . It works perfectly fine, holds charge and everything but recently for the first time ever it died since I forgot to charge it overnight. When I go to charge it , it does one of two things: the screen dimly lights up to the HTC screen then goes to a battery sign and the orange light just flashes. After a while , it just turns off. the other thing it does is turn onto a bright htc screen and keeps turning on and off then eventually stays off. I tried different chargers, bought a new battery, but nothing works ! When it has battery, it works perfect! It's just when it dies is when it has problems. I read somewhere that a person took it to their carrier and they said the charger wasn't giving it enough power to start its start cycle? Is that what it is? I can't take it to a carrier because I bought it from a friend. Any solutions?

  • Answer:

hey you chose an awesome phone. from the symphtoms that you state, it is apparent that it has gone into a loop. which means your suggession that the charger isnt giving it enough power to start its cycle seems to be right. if that is the case, you dont have to take it to your carrier. just find an mobile phone technician and he should be able to work it out for a nominal charge or better yet take it to a htc outlet. buying from a friend does not preclude you from availing service. all the best. please rate as best answer. i would really appreciate it. thank you. j.ram
