How to separate 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz signal?

Dual core snapdragon 1.5ghz or quad core 1.5ghz?

• okay, so im going to buy a new phone and ive noticed everyone going on about this new rage in quadcores with tegra 3 etc.. so i started looking at the specs on the phones coming out this year and i noticed someone was using a dual core instead of a quad core, so i researched this "snapdragon 1.5ghz" (dual core) and it had information about how it is really good and how it is better than quad-cores because it saves battery life and is equally powerful but when i look up the tegra 3 quad-core it says its what everyone should be looking forward to as this is also "the best"... how convenient? so my question is, which one is actually better and why?

  It was proven in benchmarks that the dual-core Snapdragon S4 processors could outdo the quad-core Tegra 3 processors and it does save battery life as it's a 28nm processor rather than a 40nm processor and it's also based off the more newer ARM Cortex A15 models while the Tegra 3 is based on a Cortex A9 processor. So performance can differ. The reason why many OEMs are releasing a Tegra 3 and Snapdragon S4 variant of one phone (eg: HTC One X) is because the Snapdragon S4 is capable of LTE connectivity (4G) while the Tegra 3 can't. It's actually debatable on which one is actually better than the other but since most apps don't even take the use of all 4 cores, it's almost useless. I mean, not a lot of apps even take the advantages of 2 cores. But you do end up with some games that can run really well with quad-core processors and can produce better graphics. But to be honest with you, performance in the real world won't differ that much unless you are getting a 4G phone where a Snapdragon processor is needed. Either both is fine but what's more important is the phone you're getting. Is the phone good or not.
