I went on http://www.apple.com/ca/ipodnano/specs.html and it says: "Video Capture: 640 by 480 pixels, up to 30 frames per second with AAC audio" Hopefully I helped!

It's only 3.2 mp, that is a very low resolution and pixel count. If good quality photos or video is not very important to you than it will be enough for you, if it is important to you, you'd best get a real camera, that is the case with me, I don't value anything less then 6mp. And don't forget never overlook optical zoom, the standard 3x or 4x optical zoom is fine for amateurs but not for quality stuff.
