Why does my iPod touch keep dying?

Why does my iPod touch keep dying?

  • (4th generation iPod touch.) It'll go black in the middle of a song while I'm on a run––with full battery. Sometimes I'lll press reset for 10 seconds and it'll reboot; sometimes nothing happens; sometimes the Apple logo shows up ad infinitum. In the latter two cases I'll wait a while and it'll eventually reboot with reset, or I reconnect it to my computer and everything's fine. I genuinely have no idea what determines the response and I just keep guessing. It's a bit like living with an infant. Help much appreciated, and thank you in advance!

  • Answer:

Bad hard-drive. If you dropped it once, it's a sign that it's gone. :/ rip iPod.

If you have wi-fi turned on or use a lot of apps or videos, it will run out VERY quickly. There is nothing you can do except live with it.
