I bought one on Wal-Mart.com for $33 called a Sansa. It works great, but it only plays music. Hope this is helpful!

samsung p2 (ipod touch killer) has all the ipod touch stuff, cost around 200 now heres the great part.... its bluetooth enabled. you can use any normal headphones or you can use ANY bluetooth (a2dp) headphones. you can transfer music or any other compatible files via bluetooth.. you can also connect it with your bluetooth phone (only when using normal wired headphones) and use your mp3 to answer your phone (samsung p2 has a built in microphone and displays whos calling) you can also dial any number thru your mp3.. so not only is this mp3 a great music player, video player, text reader, java game player, bluetooth phone but its dirt cheap for what it can do.

Creative. I was going through this same thing like you getting sick of the "apple'stuff. Creative is the best. I got one for christmas after i asked for it and i absolutely love it. It is very durable(i have dropped it many times once on concrete).i have left in the car while it was super hot and it still works like a charm. Plus on some you can set your own picture as the background. I have the zen vision:m but i dont think they make it anymore but im sure you can order it somewhere. Here is the site. Hope this helps=)

Not a Zune, and definitely not a Sansa. I've always loved the Creative Zen. The only reason I got an iPod instead of that is for the storage space.
