Is there a way to convert tracks from a CD to mp3 or similar files?
-
I am recording a CD, and just wondered if there was a way to make the tracks into mp3 or similar in order to attach to an email to send to a friend overseas. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Answer:
if you would like to get tracks from a cd onto a computer in mp3 format there is a freeware program called freerip. it is located at download.com and its fairly simple to use. it also uses the online database to name the songs for you if it is a real cd. if it is a homemade cd that function won't work. hope that helps
