How do you add songs from iTunes to your iPod?

How do i add music to my 3rd gen ipod nano? itunes won't let me just drag songs like previous ipods.?

  • i am running the newest version of itunes. i have synced 3 other ipods to this computer + itunes and i have synced my 3rd gen nano to a personal laptop and it worked fine. when i plug in the nano to this computer, it opens itunes, asks me if i want to sync and erase everything and when i close the sync warning, it says "syncing ipod, do not disconnect" then finishes, and says its okay to disconnect. at this point, the ipod still appears under 'devices' but won't let me add or play music from my ipod (via the computer).

hello ana kay make sure it is mp4 or mp3 format.... You can just use 'zillatube' - it is very easy to use. It allows you to download, and watch the videos. (and more). It will help you to download videos and put them on your PC, iTunes, iPod, and more. 1. download the video (it will automatically be saved to your PC) 2. convert the video to mp4 format (or mp3) 3. drag the mp4 into iTunes, then sync with your ipod. It works very well...just google search to get 'zillatube' ================================♥♥♥
