Downgrade iPod touch?

Ipod touch 2nd gen 4.1 to 3.1.3 downgrade and jailbreak?

• I've been trying to jailbreak my ipod but I can't figure out how to downgrade. I put my ipod in dfu mode, plug it into itunes, hold shift and click restore, and when the little itunes thing comes up its just a buncha random computer files not previous ipod updates to choose from. I've also been looking for 3.1.3 jailbreak software and I can't find anything solid, so what site has good jailbreaking software? What am I doing wrong with the downgrade, and what is some good jailbreak software.

  u cant do that anymore..apple found out soo they blocked people from downgrading because they know now people just do it so they can jailbreak their ipods but if u go on safaria on ur ipod then go on jailbreakme.com plug it in ur computer and litterly slide to jailbreak like if your unlocking your lock screen
