Why can't I bid on eBay?

I am gonna buy an ipod nano for my B-day but cant find a cheap1 i bid on them on Ebay but always get out bid?

do you know where i can find 1 in a store or on the web/

HELL OF AN ADVERTING WAS DONE FEW MONTHYS BACK, AS IT IS NOW IN THE MARKET IT HAS TO BE COSTLY .BUT BUYING FROM Ebay it may be more costly .but if you need on your B'day copare prices and go ahead .
