What are some affordable around-the-ear headphones?

Affordable alternatives to Sennheiser in-ear headphones?

  • I'm not looking to spend more than $150 on in-ear headphones. The Sennheiser ones I've been looking at are the IE6's and the IE 60's, both which are over 200. What are brands have very good quality but are more affordable?

Sennheiser provide some great headphones within your budget. You can try Beats, Sony, Panasonic, Skullcandy etc. All of these brands have various lines of products. Choose the one that you find most deserving within your budget. Compare and buy. Do look for public reviews and ratings for a better result. :)

Bose In-Ear Headphones Bose earphones have gotten a bad rap for a number of reasons. One being that its price is considered a little steep, often pushing the $100 barrier; another reason being that it does not quite live up to the Bose QuietComfort headphones. On the plus side, Bose is known for being able to balance sound quality with high-end noise insulation. On the downside, the cords are reportedly weak and tend to get easily tangled up. I bought a pair of earphones few days ago on a shopping website,i feel good about that.
