Is charging supported with this accessory?

IPod touch won't charge, charging not supported with this accessory, won't connect to my computer.?

  • Earlier my ipod have the charging not supported with this accessory message so my ipod wouldn't charge. Well now the batteries dead and it won't turn back on, I'm guessing because it's still not charging but it won't connect to itunes to restore it.

    you should try holding your ipod touch menu button and the standby button for 10 seconds till the screen blanksout which makes it REBOOT the whole device (system restart). if that doesnt work then you should check the socket in your ipodtouch to see if there is anything wrong with the metal that is used to connect to the usb wire. or you can try what the otherguy said or contact apple.

Try put into dfu mode(look for videos on YouTube or google) and it should detect you iPod in recovery mode than try restore it from there
