How should I connect my line-level amp?

Is it possible for me to connect speakers to my amp?

  • Hey, I would like to connect speakers to my amp. However, after searching the internet for a little while, I found out I probably need speaker openings on my amp, and my 35 watt amp doesn't have these speaker openings. The only jack openings my amp has got are: the input (obviously xD), headphones, line out and a jack opening which has the title 'overdrive pedal' above it. Is it still possible for me to connect speakers to my amp? (And, as you may have noticed, I do not have much experience with amp-electronics and such =P)

  • Answer:

Unfortunately you will not be able to put an extention speaker on that particluar amp. The amp itself is too small to drive additional speakers. That said, the line out jack could be fed into any number of devices to amplify the sound further. With a 1/4" to RCA cable you could run it into a home stereo- or any other device you might have available.
