Do apple in ear headphones WITH REMOTE AND MIC work FULLY for ipod touch 3'rd gen?!?

well, i mean does the REMOTE AND MIC work for the THIRD GEN IPOD TOUCH 8 GIG!!!! i repeat 3'rd GEN 8GB IPOD TOUCH!! plz help i already baught them on ebay!

I'm not sure about the in ear ones but the normal ones with remote and mic work just fine so the in ear ones should too
