How do you stop an iPod touch 2G from being connected to a computer on cloud?

My iPod was synced to my brothers laptop on iTunes but now I have iTunes on my laptop and have synced my iPod to it but whenever I download an app or music it also downloads onto my brothers laptop as if they are still connected. Is there anyway to disconnect my iPod from syncing with my brothers laptop?
