How Can I Fix My iPod?

  • Okay, my 4th generation iPod nano has started to act up. I've had it since September 2008, so it's a tiny bit old. I've never had any problems with the iPod that I couldn't fix with just pressing the menu and center button. Today is the day that I've finally had a problem that I can't fix on my own. My menu button randomly just stopped working; it was in my pocket while I was working in the front yard with my parents. When we were done, I took my iPod out and pressed the menu button. It didn't work, so I pressed it again. When it didn't work, I tried pressing it a couple more times before realizing that it wasn't going to work. After that, I tried to look up a solution to fix my problem, but I couldn't find anything that related to my problem. So I (stupidly) pressed down the center and play/pause button, only for my iPod to freeze. Panicking, I plugged my iPod into my computer, only for nothing to happen. And for my iPod to still be frozen. So how can I fix this?

  • Answer:

press and hold the menu button and the play/pause button and this will restart your ipod. if this doesnt work take it to your local apple store or best buy or something and they might fix it for free or with a little fee
