What are the best free apps/games for the iPod touch?

Wait for next iPod Touch or buy iPod Touch 4 white now?

  • I broke my 1 1/2 year old iPod Touch 3rd generation around January, and now I can't even get it fixed because I lost it and the warranty is gone. I've been considering saving up for a new iPod Touch, I miss having the apps, and an actual screen to see what songs I'm listening to (I'm currently borrowing my mom's iPod Shuffle). I'm planning on buying an 8GB iPod Touch 4 in white for I believe $199. However, I am worried that if I buy it now, in a couple months Apple will release some new,better iPod Touch like it did when I got my iPod Touch 3G July 2010, and then it came out with the iPod Touch with a camera. Should I wait a little longer, and buy a sure to come new iPod, or buy one now? All answers are appreciated, thanks everyone!

    You can't keep up with technology. Apple is going to release new items every year so you could wait forever. That said, if you KNOW for certain that the next one will be released within a reasonable time. You can wait. But remember, you're going to be paying more for just a device that basically plays mp3s. How much better can the next one be? Is it worth the price?

I'd get a 4th gen now because they usually release a new iPod In September, but they may not this year because they didn't last year.

Well, you could start saving your money now, and by the time you have enough, if they came out with another one get that, but if not just get the other one. If I were you I'd just get the white iPod, because the longer you wait for them to release a new one, (which probably wont be for a while) the longer you'll be with out an ipod. And, even if they did release a new one, i don't know how much different it would be anyway, cause they already have cameras and stuff, how much more advanced can they make them before it becomes and iphone? lol Good luck
