its safe you cannot mess up your ipod. i jailbreak my ipod and iphone. if there was nosuch thing as jailbraking i would not even buy the ipod or iphone. it makes it 100 times better

To be onest no I don't think it safe because I know you or whom ever paid like almost 300 dollars or it to be a 64 gb and yeah it easy to just hook to computer and hold down two button but it gone be hard cause if you update the iOS you goin to new up the jailbreak and everything there's been many question about updating iOS and having jailbreak on it it will Mess it up! Second if you got a warranty on that pretty device you malawell say good bye to it cause we can't help you once you jailbroken it and we can't do anything about it . And if I were you I wouldn't do it it not safe but you could read up on how to do it but there's no point f jailbreaking it cause you can text and call on it . Tht use to be excuse for jailbreaking it but now we can text and call on it but the call may last up to two min each call on wifi but it's up to you. Just don't disappoint whom ever paid for that. I always say to only jailbreak if you know what you're doing. I have the same exact device and I jailbroke using redsn0w awhile ago. You should definitely do some research like I did to find out more about it. It does make everything better, only if you know what you're doing and do it correctly. The only dangers are doing it wrong, downloading viruses, and breaking the device, but just be careful and that shouldn't happen.
