Why will iTunes not install?

  • I am asking this a second time as my first question wasn't really answered. I used to have iTunes on my laptop and it was working perfectly. I rebooted my laptop and reinstalled everything except for iTunes. It will NOT install and I do not know why. I've downloaded the install manager and started the process but a minute into it a window pops up telling me that there was an error and iTunes could not install. The error message goes on with some jargon (random numbers and letters - I don't know what it means) and then refers me to Help & Support where I could find neither help nor support. I have Windows Vista and iTunes worked completely fine on my laptop before. I do not have an alternative computer to install iTunes on so I need it to work on this. I have an iPhone and am tired of not being able to change it around! Please help!
