How do you clean a silicone ipod case?

  • I got an ipod silicone case about 8 months ago, and it's pretty good for keeping scratches off my ipod. The problem is, it seems to have picked up some coloring from the inside of my purse; the corners of the case are dyed brown. It makes it look dirty and gross, and I know its not dirt. Is there any way to make these spots go away, or do I just have to fork the money out and by a new case?

It sounds to me like it's picked up the stain from the leather. That won't come off. One solution I've seen that takes a bit of boldness is to draw all over it with a permanent marker of the same color as the stains, not in solid but writing and drawing. The darkened areas will still be there but nobody will notice them. Try that before you replace it.
