Is there another way to charge a iPod Shuffle?

Help with a dead iPod shuffle?

My iPod shuffle, which i got in fall 2005, is totally dead, and i cant get it to do anything. the light won't come on, just like it would be if the battery just needed to be charged, but it wont charge, no matter how long it charges for. is there any way that i can fix it at home, or is it just simply done for? thanks...

This happened to me with my mini. You need to take it to an Apple Store and say you need a battery check. They will do it, and if they find something wrong, you will get a new iPod shuffle. You have to argue with them though to make them understand what you are talking about.
