Can I transfer music from zune to my phone?

Does the system software for the zune automatically transfer your music from itunes?

• i used to and still have a 20gb ipod and i have about a thousand songs plus my videos that i have downloaded. i am thinking about getting a Microsoft Zune as my newest gadget since my ipod is about 3 years old. my major concern is if all my music and videos and such will work on the zune that i will possibly order. does the software for the zune automatically transfer the music and videos or do i have to transfer them myself, or will i not be able to transfer it at all? (i have music off of cd's as well as downloaded from itunes. all the videos are downloaded from itunes) thanks a million
