I wanna buy a microphone for vocals, and what stereo should i use?

I wanna buy a microphone for my vocals (screamo,deathmetal growls) and i dont know where to start really. I wanna be able to connect my microphone to a stereo set and be able to vocal through them, any suggestions ? and what are good low budget items and as well good products that i can buy ?

i would buy a shure microphone. that's what i have. your not going to be plugging into a stereo. what you want to get is a PA system. these can be very expensive, so what i would do is just get a small guitar amp at your local music store. you will need to get an adapter so you can plug the microphone into the amp. ask the guy at the store, he will probably know what your talking about.
