How to fix an ipod touch with water damage?
-
My brother dropped my ipod touch in the toilet, the problem is i tried turning it on and i plugged it in for a little while but it didn't work so i'm currently drying it with the screen face down. Did i ruin it already by trying to turn it on? Is there a way i can fix it? The ipod touch is the one without the camera im not sure what generation it is.

Answer:
Whenever any electrical appliance gets wet such as in your case, you should never switch it on immediately. You should always let it dry for about 3 days after removing the battery too to prevent short circuiting the system.Check out the link for further information on restoring your ipod.Hope this helped

Yes, it's ruined. It would cost more to have it repaired than the unit of its generation is worth.

I was gonna say don't turn it on but to late for that, just let it dry for a day or two before u try to turn it on again!
