Ipod Touch 2G headphone jack only plays out of the right ear. How do I fix it?
-
I've seen enough other online posts about this online that I'm pretty sure it's a manufacturer's defect or something. The iPod works great, and suddenly the left earphone doesn't work unless you put pressure on the jack. After testing out the ipod with other headphones, speakers, etc. and testing those headphones in other devices, it's pretty clear that the problem is with the ipod, and not the headphones. Like I said, I've seen lots of other posts about this, but I haven't found one that offers a solution other than checking the headphones, cleaning the jack, or paying for a professional repair. Surely someone's tried other things such as jamming tin foil into the jack and could tell me whether or not that works???

Answer:
There seems to be no way to fix that problem... Replace the headset with the new one... Good luck!
