Which iPod touch do you recommend, the 16GB or the 32GB?

  • About two months ago I got the new iPod nano-chromatic (green) 16GB. I decided to get it because I'm petite and it was very portable. Then I realized that although it was small and easy to carry around, it wasn’t very fun. Back then, I didn't have the knowledge that the iPod touch was so fun, until I tried my friend’s iPod. Now I'm going to sell my new iPod to get the touch, but I am a really indecisive person as you can see, so would like your help. I don’t want to buy an iPod, and then find out that I have a lot of extra space or that I need more space. I just want to shop smart, by meeting my needs with my wants. I have about 360 songs (about 1.3GB); don’t really need extra songs that I won’t listen to. 10 movies No more than 20 episodes of TV shows Less than 200MB worth of photos Also, I am planning to add many apps on my new iPod; over 100 (the ones I don’t like will be deleted). Which iPod touch do you recommend for me, the 16GB or the 32GB?

Sweetie, if you can afford the bigger one, get it. There is nothing worse than having to delete or change songs over all the time because you can't fit it all on. The other thing is having the space will make it run faster.

Well if you're going to have movies, music, TV shows, and photos on at the same time it would be best if you get the 32GB to be safe and then when new music and movies come out you won't have to worry about which to take off the ipod since you're indecisive :)

I definitely recommend the 32 gig, because since you have a truckload of stuff, you'll need all the memory space you can get. Since there are no memory expansion options for the iPod, the 32 gig is the way to go.

if you want to fit everything on it, tou would have to get the 32GB. Not everything you have would fit on a16GB.

Just get an 8gb for $229. I have about the same amount of songs that you have an I did just fine with my 8gb iPod.

I recommend 32GB. Even thought all of your stuff fits on the nano, a person's music library and movie collection is forever growing. Nobody likes the feeling of deleting music or movies. Also, apps don't take as much space as people think they do. However, some games can take a lot of space. If most of your apps are games, I recommend you get the 32 GB because even if you are ok with deleting your music and movies to make space for apps on the 16GB, it still won't be enough to fit all your apps.
