I can't play videos on windows media player!!!?
-
Every time I go to play a dvd on my laptop on WIndows media player something pops up saying "Windows Media Player cannot play the DVD because a compatible DVD decoder is not installed on your computer" I don't understand what this means and I used to be able to watch dvds and now I can't! help!

Answer:
Essentially it means that Media player doesn't work very well. Use this instead. It works much better and isn't nearly the resource hog that media player has become. http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ I have yet to find anything that VLC can't play.
