Answer:
Ok...all you have to do is 1) Open Itunes 2) Take the USB cable that came with your ipod and use it to connect the ipod to the computer. 3) Itunes will recognize your ipod and will most likely prompt you to give it a name and so forth. 4) From there on, you can access all the ipod's files by clicking on it's name and icon on the list on the left side of itunes...you know, where it has "Library" written and "Store" and "Shared," etc. 5) Now, are all your songs imported in Itunes? In other words, when you click on "Music" on the lefthand side, do they come up? If not, then you have to click "File" > "Add File to Library" and locate the songs on your computer and Itunes will move them to its library. 6) Once your songs are in the library (which you should maybe do before plugging the ipod in) the ipod will probably automatically synchronize (copy) all the songs into its library because most times, the factory sets the ipod on automatic synchronization. Now you have all the songs on your ipod! 7) This automatic synchronization will happen each time you plug the ipod in. Basically, it senses the new songs you have added to your itunes library and copies them to its library. You can change the ipod to "manual synchronization" as well. Downloading songs from itunes is never free. New, more popular songs are @ $1.29 and less popular, perhaps older songs are @ 99 cents. An 8 GB ipod can hold about 2000 songs alone if no photos and/or videos are transfered. Transfering video and photos goes the same way. Import them into your itunes library by the prior method I described. From there, drag them onto your ipod (the icon/name on the lefthand side). You have to make sure these photos and videos are of compatible formats with apple products. Check online for format info :]
