Can someone help me with my ipod please?

heres my tragic story, i was stupid and jailbroke my ipod and then restored it but forgot to set up all my tracking apps. Now ive lost my ipod and i am 99% sure its in my house. Is there any device that can at least reassure me that an ipod is in my house. It doesnt need to tell me where or anything just tell me that there is an ipod somewhere. Or, my ipod is connected to my internet automaticaly. Is there a way to check on my windows computer whether the ipod is connected. Thanks in advance for any answersewhere.
