How do I sync my itunes library with my iphone?

Erase and Sync, new iTunes library, old iPhone?

  • Nothing I've looked up gives me a clear answer and it is driving me absolutely crazy. I am going to legit cry if I have to erase everything off my phone. SO, TO START FROM THE BEGINNING.. I had my iPhone synced to the iTunes library on computer-profile-1. That profile decided it didn't want to even anymore, pulling itself into an inescapable temporary profile, forcing me to create a new one. Bam. Same computer, different profile. I plugged my iPhone in, authorized the computer, transferred purchases, and loaded my music folder into the library. "Sync Apps" is the only one checked. Now I run into the problem. I try to check "Sync Music," but it says the songs will replace the ones on my phone. I have no problem with that; it's the same music, just a few more songs. It'd be good if it could replace them, actually. So then I click "Apply" (replaces "Sync") and it asks to "Erase and Sync." Now, if I do this.. 1. What EXACTLY will be erased? I don't mind the music, I just do not want to lose my apps, contacts, etc. 2. Is the Camera Roll touched by Erase and Sync? Thank you and please reply soon!
