What are the safest ways to download media?

Can I download music from windows media player into my ipod OR can I only download from itunes into my ipod?

  • I am about to buy an ipod and I just wanted to know if it was possible to download music into it from my windows media player because Windows media player is the program I use to store all my music.

you can get a shareware software from redchair.com called anapod for free. Then you can cut and paste or transfer music just like the ipod was an external hard drive so much easier than itunes. many more features also

It's only itunes but when you connect your ipod it will ask you if you want to transfer all your songs from your computer and if you say yes then all your music from windows media player will tranfer to itunes

You may find a program that will it, but you probably have to get a kit. Try radio shack, or check the web.
