Need help with ipod transfer!! How do i transfer my music and everything to my new laptop?
-
okay so i know this question is completely over asked but this is just a lot easier than looking up a bunch of forums or whatever just to get the same answer that doesn't work. okay so i just got a laptop & my itunes is on my old computer which i have not used because it sucks and is really old. i haven't even touched my itunes in like 6months, but now that i have a laptop, i want all my music and videos and everything else that is on my ipod on my laptop/new itunes. but apparently apple wont let more than one library to exist and doesn't allow the ipod to work as a transfer mechanism. so i am DESPERATE because i have tried a bunch of transfer applications that do not work or that i would have to pay for. can somebody please HELP ME!! it would be GREATLY appreciated because i am just SO FED UP and i might kill someone soo please find me an easy free way to do this that doesn't involve using external hard drives cus ive tried that too before and it took me way to long and i still lost a lot of songs and files(i probably didnt do it right). Please help! i will love you forever! Thank you :) btw i have A LOT of music and files and such so thats why the external hard drive trick was just way too much for me lol

Answer:
Hey I downloaded this software. http://download.cnet.com/SharePod/3000-2141_4-10794489.html I've used this personally and it's helped me so much. This is completely virus free and reliable since your downloading from CNET. When finished downloading, you will be asked that you have your iPod/iPhone plugged in. When the software opens up you will the all your songs. Select all of it and click "Copy to Computer" The default folder where it will store all your music in is the Music folder. To find the music folder, click on the windows start menu and to the right should be something listed like "Music" click it and all the music imported should be there. Now you can just drag the folders into iTunes where iTunes will sort eveything out, and where all your songs will be. Hope you've found this as it was useful for me :), Top Contributor, i♥Bieber☆
