Why is my iPod skipping songs?

My ipod is skipping my songs!?

  • My ipod is skipping all the songs I got on Itunes, and only playing the ones my friends sent me from Limewire. It just keeps skipping down, and only like 6 songs work! I tried restoring, it worked, and then I put to charge and it started to skip again. Now, I connected it to the computer and its working! But I'm afraid that it won't later... should I just keep it in my computer for a while?

    reset it= Hold the Center & Menu buttons until the Apple logo appears. If that don't work then format it - Save your songs to you PC before doing so. - To format = Plug in your mp3* Go to start* Go to my computer* Right click you mp3 and choose format*

how long have u had the ipod? if u recently got it, it may b previously used. and sum1 broked it

What do you mean skipping? If its like shuffling songs then thats called shuffling.If its jamming,then it was probaly a piece of dirt in it or something wrong with the site that you download the songs from.Or it was probaly wet from rain of something! lol

Maybe when u got the songs off iTunes it possiblly had a mess-up geting the songs, but if they used 2 work i have no idea! your friend, Milad

i think tht ur songs are corrupted delete/download the songs again
