How do I free up space on an Ipod Touch?

I want to buy the ipod touch with 8GB on it and im only putting 131 songs on it how much space do i have left?

    I have about 90 songs on my iPod Touch, and it takes up a little over half a gig. So you'd be looking at around 750 MB, or 3 quaters of a gig. Remember that 1000 MB = 1 GB. my iPod Touch is the 16 GB version, and it came with about 14.5 gigs after the factory installed software and everything. So 8 gigs - 1.5 gigs = 6.5 gigs - 750 MB of songs = 5.75 gigs left for more songs, which would amount to about 1050 songs of the same average length as the ones you have now.

i'm very sure you'll still have 8 GB you'll have room for about 14,800 more songs.

well when u buy ur ipod touch 2g 8gb, 1 gb gets taken away by the apps and u'l have 7.01 gb space left which is about 1,800 songs, so you'll around about 6.5 gb left when u add ur songs on it!

ul plenty of space i got 30 apps (300MB) 300 songs (2GB) 1 movie+6short clips (500MB) nd 100MB of photos so you'll have plenty of space to do things. i had the same question, wen i bought mine.

well an 8 gb has about... 7 gb in reality, 131 probably takes up .5 gb. so you have about 6.5 gb left. which is like... 1625 songs

alot 8GB is alot for 131 song youd only need 2 if even that depending on how long the songs are

131 songs is around 10% of the space of an 8 gb hard drive. You'll have lots of room for pictures, videos and/or apps.
