I have a cassette tape to ipod headphone jack in my car; why won't it play through both speakers?
-
It started off playing through both but after a little while suddenly switched to the left speaker (driver's side.) The cable is working, everything is plugged in correctly, and the right speaker works perfectly fine while I use any other kinds of audio. I have searched online for solutions to this problem and have found none. Please help, thanks!!

Answer:
probably is the plug of the adaptor...or the headphone jack on the ipod if you jiggle the wire by the plug..does the sound play through both speakers? could also be the metallic head part of the adaptor that connects to the tape head in your cassette...they have to be perfectly aligned why don't you try a wireless fm transmitter? check out bestbuy.com or similiar store. maybe $15-20 only and much better than the cassette thing. plus you can usse it through any fm radio
