How to delete pictures on Your iPod Touch that you downloaded on the computer?

How do i delete albums off my ipod touch that i uploaded from my computer?

i added both purposely and accidentally two or three albums from my windows vista to my ipod touch and when i open the folders on my touch there is no delete button in the bottom right corner. nor can i delete the folders themselves with edit when i open my photos app. i tried to find a way to delete them via itunes and connecting my ipod to my computer but i have still had zero success. i am apprehensive to delete all content and restore settings because then i would lose all my taken photos and if i load them back from pc to ipod i dont wanna go through this whole not being able to delete things again... i would greatly appreciate any help given.
