Can I get an itunes account directly on my ipod touch?

I can't download itunes on my computer because i don't have enough memory, but I want to get an ipod touch. Can I just get an itunes account on the ipod without putting itunes on my computer? Help I don't want to waste my money on an ipod if I can't use it!!!!

Of course. The iTunes app is already downloaded on the iPod when you purchase it. You can use it even more efficiently on the iPod than on the computer I think
