What makes someone a fake DJ?

  • ok ive been hearing alot of stuff about DJ's being fake. what do they mean and what do you think?

Someone who probably sucks at being a DJ and thinks they are good, I'd think that would be a fake DJ.

All depends on who you ask. Some will tell you there is no fake DJ only natural ones because all good DJ's mess up at one point & go on to learn from their mistakes. Others say DJ's that reads about what successful DJ's do that made them successful & later attempting to do the same makes a fake DJ or passing of anothers work as their own etc.

Stealing other people's beats? I don't know, today a lot of beats are all computerized, so it doesn't involve as much skill to make a good beat
