Is there another way to charge a iPod Shuffle?

IPod Shuffle won't turn on?

• I Recently took my iPod Shuffle 2nd Generation on Holiday Where There was no Way I could charge it so the battery drained. I am Back home now and tried connecting the iPod to my laptop , at first the lights were flashing , as it said on the Apple Support pages but now the battery's gone and connecting doesn't give any responses in iTunes. The battery is not charging at all , after connecting to the laptop a light used to come on which meant that the battery's charging but nw there's nothingg?! Also: the iPod is a bit loose on the Dock for sum Reason..:S Plz Heelp!

  How long did you leave it 'uncharged' for? Mine was the same when I'd left it in a drawer for a while - leave it docked while you do other stuff and it should charge the battery enough to detect it (I'm talking about 30 mins to an hour in the docking station).
