Can i put dvds, or youtube videos on my ipod video?

you can use videora video ripper to get dvds on the ipod, and for firefox there's an addon called downloadhelper where you download the youtube video.... one problem: none of the formats you get on videora or dwhelper are supported by ipod so there's this program called SUPER(C). it's only for windows as is videora (i haven't done research for Linux). and youtube videos are FLV, flash video. I hope i answered everything.

If you want to convert DVD's to your Ipod, you have to buy some $40 software. But it's pretty easy to put Youtube vids on it. Just go to Google and type in "Youtube Video Downloader" Click the first website that shows up. After you download the software it's pretty easy to figure it out. Just download the video. then it has the option to go find the downloaded video and convert it.

1. i dont htink you can firstly download videos 2. i think i know the program you are looing for. i found it frree online it is called 'Prism' it is very good for your ipod you ahve to convert files to .mp4 format which is MPEG4 which is used by most mp4 players (thus mp4 :P) anyways like i said you need Prism. it iwll also come with many other software so dont worry they are safe and they will expire later... no watermark:D prism doesnt expire. gd luk!

I believe you can put DVDs on your ipod video. I'm actually going to go try that lol! I'm not sure about putting youtube videos on there...wouldnt that be stealing like limewire.... However, i will try the DVD thing and get back to you.

Try downloading LimeWire. They have everything. Videos, Pictures, and Music free. And I dont think youtube videos dont have a format. They are all probably flash video (flv). Those dont go on iPods

THIS IS SERIOUSLY ONE OF THE COOLEST THINGS TO DO WITH AN iPod. Download DVD decryptor, put the dvd in your pop out slot thingy in your computer, and once that's done (it might take a long time depending on the length of the movie), download this program that is called 3GP (that's a format, but that's literally what the program's called. Google PSP converters and look on the links for a while. I don't remember what site it was at). Open my documents (and 3gp), and drag and drop the movie you want to put on your iPod to the 3gp window. Once that's done, go into iTunes, go to File -> import file into itunes, and then it'll import. Plug in your iPod into the computer, and Viola! You've got urself a movie from a DVD to an ipod. Now, for Youtube. In the web browser Mozilla Firefox, download the plugin "Video Download Helper." Video Downloader doesn't work anymore for some reason. When you've downloaded the plugin, find the video you want to download from youtube. When you go to the page, the video download helper thingy will start to spin. click that, and then there'll be a list of things that you can download. Find the thing that you want to download (it should have a simple name, so you should know what it is. For the youtube video "muffins" [if you don't know what this is, check it out. type in muffins into the search thing at youtube.com], I think it says "Muffins.flv," because Youtube vids are Flash), and save it to your computer. go to that same 3gp program (same exact thing from the DVD converting), and go into "my documents" and drag and drop the file into 3gp, and once it's done (youtube vids download reeally quickly), import it into itunes just like you did. plug in your iPod, sync it, and Viola! You've got yourself a youtube vid on your ipod! Trust me, this works, I've done it like 20 times. As I type this, I have a video in 3gp downloading. Try it! :) Hope that worked!
